Ingo Rübe is the founder and CEO of BOTLabs. BOTLabs is a Berlin-based company providing Blockchain-powered solutions for Self-Sovereign Data. The company was founded in January 2018 together with the minority shareholder Hubert Burda Media.
Ingo served as the CTO of the Burda publishing house from 2012 to 2017. In this role he initiated and headed the Burda Open Source CMS Thunder (www.thunder.org).
Until 2012 Ingo worked as the Project Director for German publisher Axel Springer SE. He was responsible for the IT and Consulting Projects and set up the internal consultancy.
In 1995 Ingo founded his first Startup – Network Department – which in 2000 was merged with the IT Department of the Fresenius AG to form todays Fresenius Netcare GmbH. Also in 1995, Ingo finished his Computer Science studies at the TU-Berlin. Ingo is a Board Member of the Drupal Association and a non-executive Director of Greek Energy Funds, a company producing solar power.
Matthias Möller has twenty years of professional and leadership experience in developing and shipping digital services for the internet and media industry. Since the early days of the internet he has been managing the development of front end and back end internet services for high traffic and scalable products. Supporting and shaping the digital transformation of the core products of the media industry has been and continues to be an area of main interest, together with the changes and opportunities provided by blockchain technologies. He is used to and enjoys working in an international environment with agile teams distributed all over the world.
Timo is a Full Stack Developer, working in Blockchain Technology since 2016. He has a proven track record in Open Source development and was part of the Thunder Core Team (thunder.org). Timo graduated in Computer Science at the Berlin University of Technology. He is also a biker.
Senior Legal Counsel
Gustav Hemmelmayr is a lawyer with a strong IT law background and more than fifteen years of experience as a lawyer in corporate and legal firms. In 2014 he began working in startups and returned to university to study Media and Political Communication. Since early 2017 he has been bridging his contract knowledge with blockchain technology, studied a bit of Computer Sciences, and is dedicated to solve legal challenges around blockchain projects.
Claudia Halm is the team assistant of BOTLabs GmbH. Until 2008 she worked as an accountant in different enterprises. In our office she does the bookkeeping as well as drafting letters and contracts, monitoring of appointments and do the business correspondence.
Marton is a research scientist with experience in telecommunications, network science and neuroscience. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and PhD in computer science from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
Joana Papageorgiou works as an IT Project and Product Manager specialised in Scrum. She has an academic background in Communication Sciences and Psychology.
Simon is an accomplished professional in matters of blockchain, finance and privacy. He also has experience in the financial, healthcare and IT consulting sectors. He holds a M.Sc. in Business Intelligence and Process Management as well as a Bachelor’s in International Business.
Nick de la Forge
As a trained civil engineer, Nick provides a strong understanding of technological feasibility while being able to identify compelling business opportunities for DLT in different verticals. He is experienced in building solid and diversified relationships with investors and has a fundamental knowledge of investment practices.
Philosophical & Ethical Advisor
Raphael is a student at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and holds a degree in philosophy. He is specialised in Social Cognition, Evolutionary Anthropology and Social Theory. Fascinated by KILT’s goals in the disembodied online world he has contributed to shaping the vision of KILT and creating the KILT white paper.
